One of the best and most memorable games I've played in the last few years. The gameplay, characters, atmosphere and setting were all pure top tier. The only thing that wasn't 5+/5 was the somewhat visually underwhelming starting area and maybe the music and that wasn't even bad really: It's more that everything else was so otherworldly and fascinating that a very good but not quite as original OST couldn't keep up? I put the Pathologic 1 & 2 OSTs in a random playlist on repeat while playing it and kino was restored.
Maybe the only game I replayed/started a NG+ as soon as I'd finish it: An obligatory pickup on a sale.

It's a metroidvania souls like.
Pretty good game, I still need to do a couple of boss fights. The combat is focused on parrying and I suck at parrying.

Eh, I'm not too worried: It's a Gameboy resolution image and the game isn't getting released anytime soon. I'm confident the auteurs behind the first game will at least make something worth picking up on a steam sale.
