Does anyone else WANT to like PC gaming but can't?

I have both a PC (i7 11700kf & RTX 4080) and a PS5 pro and I just find myself actually playing games on my PS5 more. It just seems easier, anons.

I know I'd get higher framerates with PC and I'd be able to run games without Dynamic Resolution turned on, but I just hate dealing with PC bullshit sometimes.

Same situation, i9 13900k/4070 Ti and I buy everything on the PS5 Pro instead. I’ve played like an hour on my PC in the last 3 months because the thought of dealing with windows shit and UE5 stutter and “oh your computer has been on uninterrupted for 6 months? But just a year later, I got my missus a 2nd hand office PC with very similar specs (i7-2600 + GTX 550ti), but less than half the price. That bad boy ran even then recent stuff, like Witcher 2, smooth as butter. Only had to swap the GPU to 1050ti later on to keep it running up until 2022.

It's the exact opposite for me. I bought a PS5 back around launch because I lucked into one in-stock at normal price and I'd never bought a Sony console before so I figured what the hell. Even though I like the console itself PSN was barely worth it and then they raised the price and I dropped it, and it's mainly just my Bloodborne machine now. It's a perfectly good system but I just don't like gaming on the couch with a controller as much as leaning back in my chair with computer and mouse. Not to mention I like turn based RPGs and strategy games the most and the PS5's pretty fucking bad at that if you've already got a PC to play those on. Now this is pure bullshit. A ps5 pro alone is already $750. A decent laptop doesn't cost anywhere near $250 even if you buy 2nd hand, for a decent laptop you're looking closer to $700. No, a fucking chromebook or whatever is not "a decent laptop" nor is it compatible with a lot of software.
Add on top of that the $80 a year just to play online, and needing to buy controllers, microphone, etc. and it will quickly escalate.
Not to mention when the PS6 comes out, you'll have to buy an entirely new machine, whereas with a desktop, you can get away with just buying a new GPU as long as you aren't getting bottlenecked

Yea, I don't disagree with the Dota 2 community being utter dogshit but using a nearly 2 decade old f2p game that's mostly played by slavs isn't a great example especially when almost every multiplayer game on the PS5 old or new is filled with English-speaking chimps or itoddlers that cannot shut the fuck up or play normally.
