Everyone mocked it, recognized it was optional, and focused on all the other good aspects of the game. There's a woman with huge breasts in the game and you can actually see her naked, and everyone ogles her for what she is. The humor is distinctly European, the setting is faithfully designed, and the thrust of the plot is about as heroic as you can get; an evil nobleman are using horrible foreigners to attack your homeland, and you must save it.
