I really hate bulbus armor everyone has. Reminds me of Unreal Tournament 3 and gears of war designs.
Vex is somewhat memorable visually, big guy is basic whatever. If helmet guy has other cool helmets i'd play him.
I wonder if the designs are generalized because there are way more cosmetic options to get. So devs expect us to customize as we like more and not work around main character theme and style.

I've worked in two EB-games stores.
One was the most chill place ever, people often had a quick chat about new games, job was easy.
The other was exhausting as hell. It was in a mall heavily populated by brown people. Every day there were fights, they made a mess of the store, we never worked in teams so you were dealing with this shit alone. Every day after school closed these kids would come running in, throwing their bags on the floor, to play the demos that were available. They would keep this up until their parents shouted at them from outside the store to come home. It was ripe with people stealing, making messes, etc.
So yeah, retail can be fairly relaxing or it can be a pain in the ass.

I don't like the designs from 3 onward. They're not distinct enough. Vault Hunters should NOT look like a team. 2 and TPS handled it the best. When I look at the characters from 3 and 4 I think they all look like they came from the planet. The bottom picture here is not an in-game render but you get the idea.

They were all insufferable and lame, yeah. The most charming, funny characters ended up being Tediore soldiers. But her design was quite appropriate for space madmax BL style I say.
