Nah it's the same with music too. No product is flawless but on release there are tons of complaints about random shit. And then 10 years later people look back on the product and realize how groundbreaking it was.
It's funny reading the original comments on a record that is considered the best of the decade. The comments are all "umm thisi s different than their previous one" or "umm this uses too many vocals/FX/beats etc."
