Most jobs that aren't min wage have fake listings, which they only do to legally hire third worlders since it has to be offered first. Even then your resume is only looked at by a human being by 1/200 job postings that are real. Half of the min wage jobs I've seen gives out 10 or less hours per week at the bare min state pay. I have an English BA. I was a Supplemental tutor for almost 20 years, in a program that had to be refunded with a federal Department of Education grant every 5. The same year Trump rapes the DoE (with MAGA's blessing, including my own family's) it's thrown into such shambles we don't get our grant letter for months. And of course, I'm laid off. I know it's ridiculous but for me what gnaws me inside isn't the fact am not independent as a jobless, my mom isn't snide and I help her enough. Modern vidyas are shites so I don't feel like I miss a lot.
