If you're a gameplay fag Thracia is a "mitigate the absolute bullshit the game throws at you" simulator, Conquest is a long-con pair/children builder and Engage is like a more immediate/snappy version of conquest. Nintendo is gonna trigger people's Fates/Engage PTSD if they keep trying to make people care about that.
Fortune's Weave will probably easily outdo Engage, probably comfortably get past the 2 million mark in a year, but if they want to climb 3H's mountain of 4 million they're gonna have to try harder than just throwing Sothis in at the end.

I think Awakening, Fates, Three Houses and Engage showed that the the X-factor that's getting them above 2million and into the 3-5million range is the moral choice/multi-route decisions being presented in the marketing.

Its just creates its own word of marketing via people discussing the choices even before they've got the game draws more attention. The games that don't have the choice (Awakening and Engage) are selling well but just not into that upper range because there's less to discuss.

Kingdoms, School houses, Factions I think as long as there's some kind of choice they'll probably get that popularity boost and draw more people in than the standard good vs evil story.
