A guy buys a Deck to clear retro games from his steam library on the go, and emulate. A guy buys Switch 2 to play the latest Nintendo games. Deck wins by default because it has games. Switch just play the newest Nintendo slop

As I said, the games on Switch 2, are ported on Switch 2, and therefore run better. Deck is literally an Arch linux computer that just runs games. By that logic, of course Switch 2 would play modern games better (plut it has dlss instead of fsr which is better) there is no point to it, since these heavy duty games are meant for desktop pcs and home consoles. Why the fuck would one want to play Cyberpunk on Switch2/Deck instead of his computer with mods installed as well

Ideally they should compare how silksong runs, because it seems that its one of the few games the devs took Deck into consideration and also exists as a Switch 2 port. Unfortunately, they can only measure loading speeds (and maybe cpu-gpu load) since Silksong is a light 2d game. I hope you get the point

Again, this is the reason for the difference. The comparison does not make any assessment as to why the difference is there, its purpose is just to showcase that they are different

Silksong is a 2D Unity game that could easily be ported to the PSP if there were any financial incentive to do it, the experience would be virtually identical save for the most academic differences like aspect ratio and loading times
