We were supposed to have 2 story addons from the OG roadmap, one with eldar and one with necrons so those 2 are gonna be the enemies in 3.

I'm playing Space Marine 2 after playing the first game
It's very well made but I am kinda disappointed that it's so short (I found out that I am basically half way through after 4 hours of playing
I really thought it's a long and fleshed out game sorta like I dunno Doom Eternal
and also I find all the multiplayer shit annoying, I feel like the game reluctantly allows me to play single player but it really would love me to find some people to play with
also I thought there is gonna be more stuff to do like maybe upgrades to weapons or something? every weapon feels the same

It was marketing who are convinced that they need to keep breaking into 'new markets' because they think the current fanbase is ageing out and the way they need to attract a new audience is to diversify the hobby and I mean by appealing to other races and genders by adding in more 'diversity'. After not listening to /v/ and waiting for SM2 to be less than $30 I bought it for $36. It was shit. I beat the game, did 2 operations and uninstalled in disgust, it was truly awful.

I am currently enjoying a 2nd playthrough of W40k Boltgun though. Great game.

Include the Sisters of Battle somehow and have a compelling romance between a sister and a space marine. For me personally I think horde combat works best when the players are mostly ranged focus and the horde is mostly melee. The lose condition essentially being the horde making contact. It's just sort of an unfortunate fact that melee is a big part of 40k that people are going to want to see.

The entire project has Vulkan black basecoated. I started with a purple basecoat and slowly built up to green with wet blending, and glazing
I used a very light wash on the greens using Nuln Oil, which I actually do like the new formula. Also a small brush to do hard contrasts with black where the Armour plates meet or beneath the trims

Tactical Marines are classic and have a charm to them but with the more realistic proportions of the new models and a focus to a more serious grimdark tone the Mk7 just looks goofy. They've been phasing out a lot of the silly wacky stuff from before 2010 and in that context it's much easier to take primaris serious.

Knife > same damage as block, harder to get stacks

Sword > Outclassed by Fist
Chainsword > Hilariously under-powered, in fact one of the lowest DPS weapons in the game due to it being 1 speed, its gimmick is also tied around its fist heavy attack instead of the blade itself
Combi > worse than nade launcher by far, forces you to zoom in as well to use a close range blast

The campaign is irrelevant, its piss easy baby mode.

Operations/Siege/Stratagems uses a different difficulty scaling, and at their maximum levels all that matters is survivability. Damage comes from gunstrikes, head clicking and passive combos like Vanguard gunstriking then grappling to deal massive AoE damage. Hell a fucking Bulwark, the most OP class in the game, doesn't even attack, they just parry and everything dies.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Heroic version of the Bolt rifle should have been the Deathwatch Bolter from the intro and the Combi-melta should have been the Heroic for the Auto-bolter. The Deathwatch bolter is already fully modeled and animated in the game and it does have different stats compared to the bolt rifle. I honestly don't get why the devs have so much shit modeled and animated yet they never use it. The Aquilla chest piece was finally added after a whole year even thought it appeared in the game since day 1.

Except that the Blood Ravens were on planet and would have command elements he could have gone to. A cousin Chapter is better than going to the Inquisition which would use any leverage it can over a Chapter due to the Inquisition not holding real authority over Astartes. Marine Chapters specifically avoid dealing with the Inquisition as much as possible specifically because of this. Ordo Xenos is probably the one exception due to the Deathwatch being a joint venture. The Inquisition is the absolute last place he should have gone to about this whole situation, especially without actual proof as at the time it was still no more than a suspicion. It was for a Chaplain or Librarian to address first.

And you know whose job it is to root it out and keep that from happening? The Chaplaincy of the Chapter. Lacking a Chaplain a Librarian is able to stand in temporarily to investigate potential corruption. What has also happened is Chapters getting scoured by the Inquisition due to suspected corruption, which is exactly why you don't go tattling to them and bringing the whole Chapter into question.

They fall because they lack a Chaplain or they die. The entire point of a Chaplain is to make sure that the spirit of the Chapter is pure. This includes increasing moral through speeches or just talking with marines.
Calling the Inquisition is like bringing in the Spetnaz. They could either get the shooter or just as easily destroy the entire company and have them excomunicatus traitorus, especially if it's a company captain. This is especially bad for a first founding chapter like the Ultramarines. All hell would break lose if Titus becoming corrupted got out.
