I've been playing Grim Dawn, it's pretty great. The only real downside is trying to cast Inquistor Seal on myself with gamepad controls since there's no self cast key on controller apparently (though there's a mod to fix that I think?) I've been just using the touchpad to quickly target myself.
Might get around to playing some VN that I'm interested in, not sure.

I literally beat the silent hill 2 remake on my steam deck and it ran fine. 45fps. The beginning had some lag because of the forest and fog but after that I had 0 lag. It runs everything I throw at it. Mgs 3 is the first new game I had trouble with but I haven't even tried to play it on the deck, I wanted to enjoy that on my 4k tv anyway. I also beat the last of us 1 twice and 2 twice on my deck. It runs cyberpunk 2077 no problem. Tf are people talking about?

If I want to emulate I can just use a phone, and for more "proper" games a deck is not enough and laptop is better.

If you try to look at the long term, handheld PCs could be a serious problem for Nintendo if they keep up their current business model. The only things the Switch 2 can really boast over a handheld PC are:

Nintendo should always win in terms of entry price point, but the long term cost of buying Switch 2 games/hardware/subscriptions is going to be more expensive than what you would see with a handheld PC.
