I play half life 2 every year around my birthday
I think it's because a few years ago I played co-op half life 2 synergy with my best friend on my birthday and I had a lot of fun
I still miss him
Every year I make a point to 100% San Andreas. No saved deaths or busts. I like to knock out all of the side stuff as soon as possible before finishing the story, because End of the Line is so much more satisfying when it's the very last thing you need for 100%.

Every time I go through a breakup I speedrun Silent Hill 2. Something about wandering through a foggy, broken-down town full of regret and monsters just hits right when your heart's in pieces. It's like emotional therapy but with puzzles and rusty pipes.
