As a game dev: I wish I could for PC, but you're gambling on the fact that people won't call it intrusive, a privacy breach or something like that, and instead be fine with it. Like you can easily make a point that what DDLC does is not part of the agreed upon functionality, which would make it partially illegal in the EU at least if people wanted to go to court over it. The whole "I waive any of my rights when running this" doesn't even work in the USA I believe and you can end up at a point where you're guilty of computer crimes. This is why I wouldn't add something like this to a public commercial release, for the same reason we don't have quirky fun websites anymore made by autists, because of overzealous regulation on "digital" stuff.
