The news on this breach is a little disingenuous, the thing that was hacked was Discord's third-party support system, Zendesk, and that included tickets to their support team relating to age verification things - which involved sending them a photo of ID as an attachment. The actual age verification system in-app doesn't require any ID, it's that shitty AI face scan system (not from Zendesk but a different company called K-ID) which can be easily bypassed with Death Stranding.
Basically if you've contacted Discord Support since about September or so they've got some of your details, if you were a bong with a babyface and the AI said you're underageb& and you contacted support to resolve that they have your ID from that.
