>Tearaway
>Gravity Rush
>Killzone Mercenary
>Assassin's Creed black woman idr the name
>Unit 13
>Resistance Burning Skies
>Freedom Wars
>Soul Sacrifice
all suck btw. Uncharted Golden Abyss was fun though.

>Bought this
>Own it for years
>Softmod it
>Realize it's just an expensive modded PSP mostly
>Homebrew scene sucks
>Sticks drift extremely frequently from being in my pocket
>Homebrew scene is seemingly super underdeveloped because it's WAY less popular and for quite a while your option for storage was only the fucktardedly expensive and slow memory units
I want to say I like it but I'm not really sure I could

ps vita was done dirty by sony from day one
I was excited for bioshock vita dammit

Honestly, and I am saying this completely sincerely.
I think if you could just stick normal ass micro sd cards in that thing it'd be WAY more popular.
Shit's great for having all my PS1 games on.
Anonymous No.722977478 [Report]

agreed entirely
Anonymous No.722977814 [Report]
Also I'm pretty sure this a problem only experienced by one motherfucker on this entire planet.
Why aren't there tools for extracting PS1 games from eboots on linux?
I wanted to back up my shit like Klonoa and Fighting Force, but I just get some "out of memory" error trying to run one through WINE.

one issue i got with vita modding scene is that there is still old issues that were not fixed.
just yesterday i got the
>To use this memory card restart the system
bug
as far as i know this issue has been known for several years, a fix was in development as far as yar back and yet there is still nothing.

Ported off. Handheld's been effectively retired for almost a decade at this point.

ok I'll give you an honest response
>Tearaway
I had fun with it but was unmemorable
>Gravity Rush
really overrated. Combat DID suck. It wasn't good, sorry.
>Soul Sacrifice
I hated this
>Freedom Wars
Yeah, I genuinely did not like this either. When I got to the.... gryphon? Thing breaking into the prison I quit playing.
>Killzone mercenary
I didn't play it, only said it (along with a couple others on the list) for the meme.
>Uncharted GA
I thought it was fun. Not a masterpiece or anything, but fun. The controls were great for a handheld, too, the gyro was nice for aiming. Not for the dumb log sections or whatever. But it was fun.
I didn't play the assassin's creed game, or unit 13, or burning skies, either.
Anonymous No.722984230 [Report]
i never used gyro aiming, is it good?

>bought it for gravity rush and sequels for MGS and KH
>could also play psp games on it
not worth it... I guess it got muramasa but literally no other decent games

Biggest fumble in gaming imo. Just needed 1 guy to say
>Hey lets not add like $100 to the shelf price to put a pointless touchpad on the back
>Also maybe lets make it easy to transfer physical PSP games to it (add-on, update to the PSP store to let you digitize physical games etc.)
>And lets make sure we don't wait three fucking years to put a monster hunter game on it even though it basically saved the first one.
>ALSO don't fuck up the CoD release you retards
Surely the 3DS was easier competition than the DS

In a box under my bed. It has been a while since I last played, though. I'm still stuck in Dungeon Travelers 2.

Vitabros, is the Vita the /comfiest/ 'held ever made?

>Premium build quality, God-tier D-Pad, OLED screen (though dated by today's standards)
>Niche but unique library full of indies and obscure weebshit like VNs and low budget JRPGs
>Native PSP and PS1 support
>CFW providing additional homebrew ports (Hollow Knight, Ship of Harkinian, SM64, Simpsons Hit & Run, etc) and emulators

God, if the Vita had additional shoulder buttons (although you can buy a grip for this) and was just a bit more powerful for N64, Dreamcast, and smoother SNES emulation, it would be the perfect 'held. I've been tempted to get an OLED retro portable like the Retroid Pocket Mini, but that temptation wouldn't exist if the Vita was just a bit more powerful. Bought a Vita in 2012 and still love bringing it out because modern "portables" like the Switch 2 and Deck are behemoths that might as well be laptops.
Anonymous No.722993532 [Report]
i use it to play crypt of the necrodancer on a daily basis even though it's a bad port that frequently crashes the entire console and needs overclocking to run well
the old console ports by blitworks are superior to the original PC version and later console ports because skins change your voice instead of just your sprites and turning off disco floor actually fucking turns it off instead of just dimming it
Anonymous No.722994039 [Report] >>722994510
it's a shame most fighting games on vita are stuck on old versions with less content, i.e. no BBCF or DOA5LR
divine punishment for having the most complete version of UMvC3 i suppose
Anonymous No.722994510 [Report]
>>722994039
I would even settle for DOA5 Ultimate, but being stuck on the base version with like 12 missing characters makes it really dull.
