The closest you can get that I know of is a mod I used that made every weapon scale to your current level every time you level up so you effectively stay at the same power level as enemies at all times. Not exactly the same but effectively removing level scaling.

After they bought themselves out from the Kakao Games publisher the game became a lot better in general. it's not perfect but they give out everything you need out for free for just playing the game and doing the content and collecting the rewards, especially if you start fresh as a new player.

as for the game itself, ehhh it depends on what your expectation is
there's a reason why its still alive today due to the combat
i still say it's flawed in many other areas like the need for crons
the good news is that there's a lot of catchup and freebies that can jump you to the midgame

I don't sympathize with male characters because I am biologically programmed to protect women. I like designing hot female characters because I like looking at them, I like seeing how well a character creation tool lets me create what I want, I like engaging with mechanics instead of ignoring them.
I like playing the female characters I design because it separates me from the character, it lets me make options I wouldn't actually choose, I enjoy following the story of a hot female protagonist designed just for me, I am more likely to sympathize with the plight of a female character than a male character.
I struggle to find a male archetype that I would fantasize about in any way, I just don't like thinking about men, even the ones from media I actually like.
Maybe this makes me pathetic, but no matter what anybody says I am neither going to stop making female characters nor am I going to chop my dick off and delude myself into thinking I am a female character.
