To add to this I like how hopeless the mood is. Other post-apocalyptic game gives you a goal to play. You have quests to do, places to go, resources to loot, things to look forward to. In this game everybody has given up and the gameplay feels like going through the motions. Solo visitors don't kill under normal circumstances, this includes ballerina, cashier, whoever. No such thing as a safe visitor, only a lonely dormant one

Once you realize when the final FEMA and naked guy visits are you realize there's no actual danger to having a house full of visitors.
There's also nothing stopping you from just killing everyone in the house on day 13 for the good ending either.

I think the game moves way too fast and the game should be bigger/longer. Enough that you can accumulate a good sized group in the house, not giving the player too much information and forcing them to actually investigate.

pretty good game.
i will say that theres some odd design choices (no way to tell if a guest is a visitor before letting them in so you have to chance it most of the time. getting guests early in the game that only have signs that get revealed way later. having some guest convos end with them dying/leaving which incentives not to talking to them) and the art/style/aesthetic definitely carries it but i do think its worth playing through all the endings at the very least
