Silksong has that battle room in the Citadel after all the bullshit platforming and tough enemies and it just won't stop. Anyway, just like awards such as the Oscars or other similar trash, time filters the good stuff from the bad, so who cares about this shit in the first place? Most of the time, it's just buddies rewarding buddies and in a few years, people will look at the winners and laugh.

Tbh, I think shartsong was a step back. HK fights, due the iframe dodge, had more of a bullet hell feeling during boss fights. Personally I think this is more fun. Instead they tried to pivot to a more sekiro like combat system, the only bosses where this really worked were first sinner and trobbio. The rest of the bosses are utter trash. Gauntlet slop, 2 or 3 simple attacks with adds spawned, insane tracking on some attacks, environmental hazards added to rehashed bosses. It's just all very uninspired. I think they should've kept it tighter, maybe 8 or 10 tightly designed bosses. The world also feels overstretched and nonsensical. It really is the Dark Souls 2 of Hollow Knight.
