How does 100% work? Is there something to help you find items or tell you what you're missing, or do you literally just wander around inspecting every pixel in the game?

Let's talk about its issues and what we want patched
There's a few big issues:
>currency system
The issue is partly that there is far too few rosaries/shards in the game, as you will constantly be running out even if you use them extremely sparingly.
However, the BIG issue is there is zero incentive to earn these through normal progression, and it's infinitely more efficient to just spend a bit of time powerfarming and then be absolutely loaded with shard bags and rosary necklaces. 10 minutes of farming will give you the same reward as like 4 hours of progression, and then it's actually more efficient to just ignore most enemies as they don't offer you anything.
>lack of combat rewards makes exploration underwhelming
The crest system is really underfleshed. You just stick to the best one and never swap it out, especially so because of the way the memory upgrades work that you never even want to experiment with an unupgraded crest. You basically just choose the best crest, upgrade it, and ignore everything else.
Same with charms/tools, you only have 1-2 slots per type, so you just stick with the best ones. You may occasionally swap one out for one boss/section, but 95% of the time, I'm using my strongest charms and the others are pointless.
Same for the pittance of shards/rosaries for exploration/quests, WAY more efficient to just powerfarm and then ignore this crap.
Some other issues:
>the low HP vignette effect is way too obtrusive when you need to lock in most
>pause on parry is more than a bit excessive
>enemies should drop quest items before you start the quest. There's no reason you need to accept quest and talk to a guy before birds start dropping... feathers, or for purple pollips to appear at all
>the map gets just way too huge; it's like 5x the size of Super Metroid. In Act 1 it's fine, but by endgame, it's just too much to mentally process and remember and blurs together
>over-reliance on tanky and flying mobs. Due to how long they take to kill, it's best to ignore them whenever possible

It just keeps getting better and better. I genuinely feel bad for all the retards who got filtered.
People are going to talk about this game the same way they talk about Super Metroid, Ocarina of Time, and Dark Souls. It's THAT fucking good. I almost feel embarrassed for thinking E33 had a chance at GotY.

This is the hardest game I've ever played
I've beaten hundreds of tough action games and platformers, this is tougher than all of them. If Mega Man is a 5 in difficulty, Castlevania is a 6, Hollow Knight is a 7, Elden Ring is a 9, this is about a 9.75.
The biggest difference is something like Elden Ring has short runbacks, plenty of cheese strategies, co-op summons, and powerfarming. Very few people would be able to beat the hardest bosses without those.
Silksong has none of that. You basically just bash your head against the wall until you finally are able to win

I'm fucking done. I uninstalled.
For me it's
>the constant runbacks
>the constant screen effects that obscure the action
>the constant annoying ebic pausing and slowdown on certain attacks that fucks your timing
>the complete lack of progression or upgrades
>the complete lack of currency despite EVERYTHING being gated behind it
And worst of all:
>every single enemy in the entire game dealing contact damage COMBINED with the fact that they spaz around erratically COMBINED with the fact that your weapon hit range is like two inches COMBINED with the fact that there are tons of tanky flying enemies that you can barely even reach and you have to jusy barely touch them with the tip of your two inch attack and hope they don't ram into you while they're spazzing around
I'm just over it. I love hard games, but this is just annoying bullshit. If you know, you know. If you're still in early act 1 saying it's easy, then just shut the hell up

I'm done. I'm fucking done.
I had my fun with it. I really enjoyed the exploration and world but these bosses are just...I just find myself not caring. I'm so burnt out from playing From games for 15 years now that another ultra-fast, ultra-everything boss just makes me groan and stop playing for the night. I straight up hate the two mask damage thing in general but in bosses I just instantly lose any patience when I get combo'd to death in .5 seconds.
Well I spent $20 on it so yay for contributing I guess lol. Sorry but uninstalled, not in the mood for this git guddery.

Now I remember why I hate this fucking game
>maps are massively oversized, full of dead air, and you move EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOW through them
>constant dead ends everywhere (marking these on your map requires you to fork over money for an item)
>environments all look extremely generic and samey
>rosary beads require you to stand directly on top of them to pick up and will bounce right past you into spikes
>any enemy killed on spikes loses all its rosary beads
>same bullshit currency loss on death requires backtracking through half the map or else you lose all those rosary beads forever
>basic trashmob enemies that take 10+ hits to kill and damage you for more than 1/3rd of your health bar
>dying at a difficult section requires you to backtrack 5+ minutes just to be able to attempt it again
>need a fucking paid upgrade to show compass on map and it blocks you from equipping any other exploration charms
>missing one tiny bench in the giant labyrinth map means you can't update your map and lose like 30 minutes of progress upon dying
>no way to return to the hub area aside from manually backtracking aaaaaalllll the way back (one of the few mechanics from Souls they actually should have implemented, but didn't)
>somehow made the pogo mechanic even worse and more awkward with a diagonal pogo (I had to bind down on d-pad to a shoulder button just to make it fucking playable)
>EXTREMELY slow drip-feed of upgrades and power-ups (like 1/20th the rate of Super Metroid)
It's like the devs fucking hate you and went out of their way to antagonize you at every turn. There's brief moments of discovery and cool bossfights that are just peppered in the absolute endless sludge of tedium and frustration
