It's technically impossible to make one isn't it? I could be misremembering but from what I remember with 2.4g (the only option for low latency) you can't have extra buttons. You'd require bluetooth which has latency.

>every wireless mouse a retard appears thinking people want to get rid of the chord because they are "tired"
Retard
The problem with the chord is that it pulls with irregular force depending on the angle, the mouse's position etc, which fucks with muscle memory if you are trying to do precise/very light movements like FPS, rhythm games, OSRS, and so on.
If you never used a wireless mouse you can't even have a say about this. You only realize you had it bad once you get rid of the chord and see how easier it is to predict mouse movement across the screen.

I don't get worrying about batteries in 2025. They last for weeks. When my headset/mouse tell me "hey I'm on low battery" they can still go for several more days. All I have to do is plop them on their deck (or in my USB-C phone charger) and in 2 hours they're good to go for weeks to come. It's never been a problem.

The batteries degrade over time, the lifespan shortens. In some cases they'll fail. I had to buy replacements twice because they were past the warranty. The average lifespan for me was about 5 days and it took 4 hours to recharge. I don't worry about batteries, though. I'm just not using them anymore, it's one less thing to think about and I still believe wireless mice are great but some wired mice in current year perform better and the cords aren't as much as a burden as they were before.

Nobody sane says not to get a wireless mouse, retard. What most people here say (and they're right) is not to get wireless headphones since
1. They sound like shit
2. They have a finite lifespan because of the battery
Meanwhile a HD600 or whatever planar magnetic will last you 20 years. Wireless keyboards are fine though, but I really don't get why anyone'd get that since unlike mice you don't move the keyboard around.

I know with the same money I spent in my wireless headset I could have gotten slightly better audio quality, but what is the point if I have to fight the chord every single minute? I'm talking about measurements. Most people aren't as autistic about audio quality like me so I get the average person probably doesn't give a shit but you really don't get how much you're missing with the average gaymer headphone. When I first got good audio equipment it was like night and day compared to my old Cloud 2s. If you ever have the chance to visit a store with studio quality headphones, give them a listen and you'll notice that half the details in vidya soundtracks or other stuff are completely lost with gaymer headphones since those are tuned to have as much bass as possible.

Anon, people that use wireless headphones for gaming are using them with a 2.4g dongle, not bluetooth.

The latency with a 2.4g dongle is unnoticeable (it's like 7ms wired vs 12mg of the 2.4g dongle) and pros use it all the time, so don't even pretend you're too good for it

Anonymous No.723568751 [Report]
>>723568579
It's not about being fancy, it's about not being meant for gayming. Companies that make headsets for music have no reason to think about 2.4g because latency is irrelevant. You need to look for low latency models.

People love shitting at hardware marketed for gaming, but there is a reason why they exist. A "gaming headset" means you get something tailored for low latency, with consumer-oriented mixing (which is what makes music sound good, as opposed to studio-oriented mixing where it sounds neutral) and a microphone. Retards prefer to go for studio headsets and they end up with a bluetooth, neutral-sounding, micless headphone.

I guess that might be a problem if you're some low sens incel snipelord who aims with his whole arm making sweeping movements across his desk. Never been an issue in even the slightest sense for me as an ordinary gamer who just likes to play games. I have a wireless office mouse I take to work so I don't have to use the shitty mice at work, and I literally cannot perceive any difference whatsoever in terms of drag between that and my gaming mouse at home with a feather light fabric cable.

Some retard in a thread last night wanted to talk about how he knows drag is a real issue because his charging cable drags while plugged in. Yeah no shit your heavy ass frictional rubber charging cable drags.

Because it is objectively superior for gaming?

Weighted mouses were an old gimmick for studio use. Mostly artists that for some reason used their mouse to draw (almost no one does this nowadays). Because gamers are retarded and typically think studio quality = consumer quality, they bought into this. Even Logitech released the g502 which came with additional weights for the mouse.

The gimmick wasn't successful even among its target audience (the artists), but it's impressive to see that in 2025 there's still /v/tards who swear by it.

Batteries die. You have never owned something that became useless after the internal rechargeable battery died. It is objectively better to get the wired version of anything. The only acceptable batteries are removable ones like pic related.
If you get something like a keyboard that you can plug in, and it will still work after the battery dies, that can slide. Ideally, it doesn't have a rechargeable battery at all. Something like what OP got is underage certified.

But the no-name random garbage mouse my mother bought me and my brother as a backup somehow still works after sitting for years in a box. This is just a fucking scam. I'm looking for a mouse that has good side buttons and isn't expensive. The moment side buttons are introduced to a mouse, unless it feels like shit, guaranteed to be 100+ USD.

the pattern recognition engine keeps getting fed seethe by online retards until the seethe becomes one of its patterns, see also the twitter meltdowns from people trying and failing to get grok to denounce black people

yeah getting fed average IQ statistics was part of the twitter crash-outs about not being able to get grok to call blacks monkeys, all attempts to turn the twitter AI into a phrenologist failed

we get it, you are really happy after enough lobotomization, current generation ai can't correctly identify statistical averages

nobody asked though

>there's no way electric signals travel faster through air than copper.
Are you stupid. Wireless mice use radio waves which travel at the speed of light. Electricity can be argued to "propagate" at the speed of light but thats a physics conversation you arent ready for. Either way it doesn't matter because the latency for both is going to be capped by drivers and windows resources/scheduling.
