It feels like there no interesting games anymore. its all the same rehashed stuff and we barely have new features in games when compared to old ones. even the stories are basically just copie pasted from movies. rdr, tlou and dad of war are just dogshit storywise and not at all interesting. video games are heralded as the peak artform by midwits currently, but what effect do they have on culture?
there is no tolkien or da vinci gamedev where everyone know the video game except for Mario and pokimon which everyone know. you guys seriously want to pretend these games are high artform?
nigga please be honest video games are a hedonistic pleasure and barely more interactive than a slot machine in a 50 year old rundown casino.

creativity and innovation died in the industry when game devs no longer comprised of gamers, but instead of shareholders, investors, CEOs and art degree graduates, ALL of whom do not play video games

Keeper is a great interactive movie if you want a pure arthouse experience. It’s like a point and click game where you just hold right.

Pc gamepass is $13.
