Lemme explain. The crust, cheese, and pepperoni is pretty self explained, everyone loves it.
Diced Granny smith apples, HAS to be granny smith apples. When diced, into extremely small cubes, you sprinkle it onto the pizza before you put on the cheese. The somewhat tart granny smith pairs extremely well the sauce, and almost gives it a much more deeper depth of flavor when cooked in the oven. The sardines don't make it too salty due to the mushrooms being able to absorb most of the taste of the rest of the pizza, and also give it a very nice bounce bite to boot. With the sausage, you need one that is either unsalted or homemade, that way it is more protein and texture as well.
