Incidentally I just found that pickles are LITERALLY cucumbers that have been pickled. Like, it makes sense, I've always understood that "pickling" was a process and everything but I still assumed there was some vegetable called a pickle out there. But no, they're literally just fucking cucumbers. I was shocked down to my very core. I couldn't believe it.
