Literally just looking at that timeline and knowing what all those periods were like and projecting ahead, you just know shits going to be awful.

Currently 31, don't see myself suddenly picking up an entirely new hobby and dropping games. I enjoy other shit, but I still play games for 2-6 hours a day. I'm still getting excited for new games coming out/on the horizon as well.

Obviously new challenges will come up as I get older, but I have a decently paying job, a place to sleep, food in my cabinets, and I don't have any interest in finding a partner. So why wouldn't I keep enjoying games during my time I get to relax? What else is there to do in this fucked up world? I'm going to keep living my quiet life and when I die I die.

Probably. I'm too stupid and lazy to learn anything actually productive in life and I doubt I'll be able to get a house and start a family. I honestly wish I never got as obsessed with games as I did when I was a kid. I wasted my life.

I work in my family business which I cannot quit, 7 days a week because we don't have staff, I haven't felt rested in years and I'm still in love with my ex despite her breaking up with me three years ago. I'm already living with my parents but they make me pay rent and electricity, and while I'm trying to save up something, it's still useless money since I'm stuck here

I started gaming in 1987 with an NES when I was 4, so technically I'm coming up on 40 years of gaming.
And yea I see myself gaming, I enjoy the hobby still.
