There is no one anyone can actually think this is harder than Souls. It took me a fucking WEEK to just beat the first boss in Demon's Souls, whereas by a week in NGB, I had already beaten the game twice.

The worst part about the difficulty is that there is very little difficulty progression as the difficulty level goes up, it's mostly just different arranges. Once you know how to deal with enemies, you know it.

this and DMC3 are both massively overstated in difficulty.

The only way to make them hard is the hardest difficulty with max ranks and no items. The items are the worst part as you can just enter the menu and spam them at any time. While all the items in the world won't help you in Souls as even just finding an opportunity to use them is difficult and your healthbar gets depleted way faster.

you havent "beaten" the game until youve done it on master ninja and I can guarantee you havent because if it took you a week to get through the vanguard demon youd literally kill yourself trying to complete C1 on MN
