It is kind of ridiculous, and even affects Western stuff that is supposed to be arousing now. It is insane how cameras will straight up act like the female body is something to be censored. Once you notice it you'll never unnotice it. Cameras will do all sorts of weird shit when female characters come on screen. They also spend most of the time far away from them. They'll shift around and try to make it not look too clearly like it is focusing on her. They'll do all sorts of other insane shit that ruins composition just to avoid giving a girl the spotlight. It is so deranged and weird. With scenes where both male and female characters are the focus you can notice this the most. It will suddenly get strange whenever she takes the focus. You can have entire movies with a prominent female character and it will feel almost like she isn't there.
