I'd argue that the "cutscenes" are some of the LEAST significant issues in this demake, and the others like it from the past 6 years. The gameplay, pacing, and in-game cinematography have all taken a similar nose dive.
SH2R is literally an almost 1:1 copy of the 2008's SH:Homecoming, one of the most hated games in the series, that also was an early example of what would soon become to be known as the "Soulsborne-lite" gameplay, with heavy focus on dodge-heavy combat.
RE4R on the other hand made everything feel sluggish and clunky, removed the stationary, wobbly aiming and reloading that required base-level tactical thinking, and generally censored the fuck out of all the fun characters.
