If they make a switch 2 lite, I’ll pick that up. I hate the bulky nunchuck version. Switch lite 2 would be tits so I can upgrade Skyrim and play borderlands 4. I bought borderlands 3 for the switch lite, it’s rad. It took a while for me to get in to it but I did and it was a good buy. It's selling fine but it is pretty much on a DS-3DS situation regarding the original Switch, it's never gonna be as massively popular as the original and banking on retrocompatibility was stupid, but having Pokemon alone guarantees it will not flop, what the Switch 2 needs to consolidate itself culturally is exclusives, all new Zelda, Mario, Pokemon and an array of minor titles like Kirby, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade and such to pad up the catalog.

Technically yes but unlike with Pokemon the switch 2 version is actually a huge improvement. We know this from the file size. Pokemon Z-A is a 7gb game while MP4 is a 31gb game. For comparison, that's like 2.5x the size of BotW, meaning much higher resolution assets than a switch 1 game.
