TheGamer was notorious for making a bunch of low effort articles that would always be one of the first results on Google when you were looking up some shit. Not only did they have a bunch of annoying, gay and lame articles from their robot employees, but any particular "guides" they had on their website were incomplete and consistently had inaccurate information.

I attended high school with a guy who wrote for the website. Styled himself as "JoeParlock" - of course, he was utterly bullied in school and fused that into writing surface-level social justice essays and decrying anything "normal", blending in with the insufferable woke elements of that website, and was a prime supporter of Laura Kate Dale. In fact, seeing him get his position there and in other places made me realise just how awful games writing was, the kind of personality it attracted, and I'm glad I steered well clear of it. No doubt he's still living with his parents.
Looks like he was laid off a month ago too. Ah well, I'm sure he can give his unqualified take on everything forever more, he just won't be paid for it now the industry is collapsing and cunts like him contributed to all the soul being flayed off it.
