Haunted Towers and Tree Tops, because you have to actually think about how the levels are laid out based on the limited vantage points you have.

The first game's a solid platformer that doesn't lean TOO hard into the collect-a-thon aspect and I like that it isn't a constant upgrade fest. I enjoy the level design being this almost non-linear progression without it being confusing. When you mix it with the outstanding art style and nice music, it feels like you're taking a stroll through this surreal fantasy world. The lack of excess story and dialogue and minigames goes a way to ground you in this world. Even the loading screens make a solid effort in keeping your immersion unbroken by having you fly through the sky.

It's a fun romp at any age. Just don't play the remake.

It's neat to see how serious he's taking the material he's composing for, or at least the other artistic aspects of it. another thing I love about Spyro are the water levels. No other platformer, not even Mario, has perfected underwater gameplay compared to the movement and speed at which you control Spyro in the water. The music and aesthetics are always top notch too. They really nailed that tropical fantasy vibe and nothing comes close to it.
