I could never get into the 3D games. It felt like the best way to play was just real time circle strafe and arrow down everything if the environment permitted it.

for example Knights fucking suck
the strongest party is 4xSorcerers, you don't even need a healer
One Sorc is a water specialist with Town Portal/Lloyds beacon spells that allow you to fuck everything up and quickly teleport to a nearest temple to recharge and go back to fucking shit up.
One Sorc rushes Air to get the Fly spell, so you can shit on mobs (outside) like a true Pajeet.
Once you get all four to have Dark magic it's game over for every faggot that stands in your way.
Get Shrapmetal, run into the nearest enemy (as close as possible) and press S to delete them.

I tried a party with dual wield Knights (with support obviously), they were shredding dragons to ribbons.
Another party that I liked was 4 archers and 1 cleric (or 3+1 I forgot), but it was done in MM Merge Mod. It is the best party I have played, they annihilate things better than laser guns do. But I don't think it's possible in the original: without Grandmaster skill (there is not any in the game), bows don't do enough damage.

I don't think it's necessarily even that, although you can definitely feel the Conan the Barbarian/Frazetta influence flowing through all this art. It's more that it's very genuine, it's portraying a believable fantasy world where different races and factions are fighting alongside and against each other. They feel REAL, they aren't retarded obnoxious quip spewing meme characters or performative faggots like you see in modern media. There's no agenda at work here, evil is evil, good is good, no attempts at subversion (at least not for underhanded IRL political purposes).

Paladin is basically Cleric with extra steps as in his melee combat skills are lackluster in MM6. Same goes for the Archer is that he's just a weaker Sorcerer.
