Cancelling only really works because it draws a reaction from either the person getting cancelled or their higher ups not wanting to take the potential sales risk and offering them up to the altar so they can continue making profit. Some of the most terrible people alive have fucking sports drinks and millions of fans that glaze them at every opportunity because they just don’t acknowledge any of their criticism and instead focus on just doing stuff that entertains or distracts people.

So just make games. If someone tries to cancel you just keep making games. If you get fired from your job by your boss just keep making games and then another studio will pick you up. The second you give a fuck about any of it you lose.
