I think this is surprisingly a close argument bc Naoya is literally like super-Jesus and all the great angels and demons are nothing to him by the end. Aizen is in a similar category if we look at SK Yhwach at the same level as YHVH (although I would argue that SK YHVH was still inferior to Adnyeus). Yhwach's Schutzstaffel all became divine angels and nearly unkillable monsters which, if we extrapolate to SMT we can put the likes of Lille and Gerrard on the same level as Metatron.

The majority of Soul Society is a slum, only the parts the Soul Reapers live in are nice, they're the aristocrats of Soul Society, ruling and governing with power and fear. He can place an unknown but presumably very large number of people under a perfect hypnosis that controls all of their senses and can use this to distort reality to the point that they accidentally kill each other thinking they're attacking him.

He moves faster than the human eye can see.
A single touch from him is enough to rip high-level people from his own universe in half.
He also knows all manner of weird spells that just do all sorts of fucked up shit.

He's definitely a world-level threat at minimum. Probably not a planet buster but a city buster easily and even if you can overpower him you still have to have a way to get past his hypnosis.

And even after all this, we've still never seen his most powerful techniques. Aizen would be a massive threat in most universes.

First of all he was hidden in the WotL and he wasn't doing anything to threaten the SS in the 20 years after he was fucked over so he wasn't a priority. Because when he's introduced, he shows insane fighting strength but no control over his reiatsu and no Shikai so of course he won't be on the same level as the top captains in early Bleach. Fight was absolute kino. Bleach has the best fucking entrances in shonen. Aizen's transformations were cool as fuck also, representing how he saw himself at that point in time. The series is fun as a straightforward story game, but definitely has a bit of a wall of levels in later story stuff, and tends to continue the story into the big numbers post-game. I'd say to emulate them or get them cheap, and don't be afraid to look up ez grinding methods if you suddenly feel like you can't win. The number crunching game and item world shenanigans are definitely the meat and potatoes of the series, but the stories are usually a fun time with some decent payoff. I really enjoyed 2, 3, and 5 for their plots, even if 5's characters are a bit on the generic side.

I didn't pick up on that stuff on my first read but these days it is my favourite aspect. At the end when Aizen is actually defeated he rages, for the first time in the manga we see him angry but he isn't angr at Ichigo or at defeat. He is angry at Kisuke. Angry at a man who had the mind to understand reality and change but who instead chooses to do nothing and let the whole world stagnate.
Absolutely masterful and it really elevates Aizen from most other shounen antagonists.

Who? All of them agree that Bleach is massively downplayed but we're talking about universal level threats. When you deal with actual heavy hitters, shit like Almighty is fodder ability. Arale for example would just rewrite the plot, literally fold a panel with Yhwach on it and fly him out of the story as a gag. Yamamoto scales above Ichibei via statements and Aizen has his own hax. So Aizen should clear. He'd reveal in the middle of the fight he had Ichibei under Kyoka Suigetsu and he never actually erased the name or asspull something like Hogyoku has more than one name due to its nature.
You can also argue if Ichibei could nullify Aizen's regen so easily they'd just ask him for help in killing him.

Gilgamesh is too slow (Mach I is considered fast in fate, which is why its such a big deal when Shirou breaks the sound barrier and heaven's feel, and Astolfo dodges arrows at mach 1 in Traum) and his attacks wouldn't even be able to harm them.

JJK is a mix of Bleach and Naruto, but the author occasionally just shoves famous Hunter x Hunter moments into it hoping no one notices. It eclipses all of them in how chuuni it is, though. Bleach has lots of nonsensical moments, it's famous for it, but literally nothing in JJK makes sense, Gege just makes shit up as he goes. It reminds me of little kids on the playground going. Also, fitting of "zoomer" shounen, it moves so fast you keep thinking you skipped a chapter or not realizing you're in a flashback until it's over. It's really dumb.

If you like early Bleach for the slice-of-life aspect and just teenagers fucking around, then JJK is not it. There's like two chapters in the entire manga that just lets the characters breathe. Modern manga doesn't like that shit, everything's go go go.
