13 was a corridor with not enough to break up the endless battling. the battling itself had no risk to it as a game over just respawned you right before the enemy. there also wasn't enough choice during combat for attacks and abilities, or out of combat for party building.
15 was messy all around. would've been good if it was a finished polished product.
16 had similar problems to 13 where it lacked meaningful exploration, side content and party building options. it was bloated with mind numbing side quests and even the main quest suffered from some very boring segments.
overall all 3 sucked and deserve their criticism
13 is probably the best videogame out of them but only because 15 was such a directionless bastardized mess. 16 feels like it was made by and for people who don't play vidya.
