This game has so many little quirky area and gameplay elements they throw in just for a section of a game. Feels like a relic of an era where there wasn't this absurd worship of a "gameplay loop" and the base game mechanics were just the foundation for an adventure you go on to experience all kinds of wacky crap.

Honestly, at some point, if you don't use meta weaponry on Insomiac, you can get shafted hard. My health keeps going down and up despite capping at a whooping 165. The cultists in the cursed woods are as dangerous as an actual Blood cultist, without the superhuman reflexes.
Restless is a really good difficulty though. It's like Normal for other games.

The olympus dropped by the redneck frorcs in the swamp is pretty damn good. It does pretty great damage and has a pretty tight spread. There's a few great ones you can get early on in chapter 3, especially the snowy warfare, hotkiss, and Buffalo-XL

the bubbler is fun to use when you get it. can spray out a bunch of slow moving bubbles. works well for crowd control. near the power station on the west part of the farm field map (forget what it's called). duchess you can charge and snipe shit. and the shotgun you get is a good use of water ammo.

Aquommando is a good starting weapon, it's the first SMG with proper range.
The Hotkiss Bonet Merci is your first LMG. Low mag size but also low cosg and high damage.
The Splash-12 is an auto-shotgun. Has a bit to much spread but provides good DPS against large targets. Devastating with the trigger-happy elixir.
The H-90 is a direct upgrade to the Aquommando, it might have a mag, but it's large enough and this gun has more damage.
The Super Bubbler appears much later in the game, but it's a beast of an LMG, with the only drawback being slow projectiles (can be countered with the trigger-happy elixir)

It's the..second one? The one that is the plant room referencing Resident Evil 2 remake. Its in the locker, but you have to hop and press F to grab it. It's for some reason not in ground level. So its understandable if you missed it. Its in the shelf, but on the top of its racks.

Camera distance on up/down makes no sense, it should be a toggle in the menu, that way you could use all dpad directions to bind weapons, 2 per direction for example

This shit actually took me a minute to understand when first starting the game, because I didn't notice the minuscule Play button at the bottom of the screen. And console normies are even more retarded than I am: They just want "START GAME" in big letters, not multiple button presses nor alternatives. And not just having a "CONTINUE GAME" as soon as the menu loads also felt a little like a noobie mistake...
