How do I get good at platformers?
I fucking suck at platformer games. I've only ever beaten the first level of Mario Bros, I suck ass with the second level. Idk how people do it, I get lost very easily in Hollow Knight and failed on the first boss many times. I was almost tempted to buy Blasphemous but I know I'm gonna get my ass kicked.

What do you mean? Hollow Knight is barely a platformer. Also for games like Hollow Knight, a basic facet of navigation is simply checking every direction and then crossing them out in your head. What are you struggling with exactly?

This was fucking years ago when I last played Hollow Knight, I barely remember. All I remember was it was a maze trying to traverse the game.
