I fucking suck at platformer games. I've only ever beaten the first level of Mario Bros, I suck ass with the second level. Idk how people do it, I get lost very easily in Hollow Knight and failed on the first boss many times. I was almost tempted to buy Blasphemous but I know I'm gonna get my ass kicked.

What does /v/ think of Blasphemous? I hear a lot of people believe it's one of the high tiers of the genre while others say it's just style over substance and the gameplay is weak. Then there's the sequel; is it scat or gyatt?

Just beat this game (got ending B anyway), what did I think of it and what will I think of the sequel?
