I tried to read Detective Sleuth or whatever it was called.
It was so fucking awful I couldn't finish it.
I tried skimming and I couldn't get to the end even just by spam clicking without reading.
These are GIGANTIC and there's nothing of value or funny within them.
I could get through it if it was a chore, but instead, it's a HUGE chore.

Which is why it would be a good idea for the cartoon to go it’s own direction by cascade. While I’ve seen reviews of alternate homestuck endings (most of them suck balls) at least it would give some mystery as to the direction of the characters

I think it’s lame that both Dave and Dirk use the same type of weapon. I would have made Dirk use a rapier or fight like a fencer “ironically” to play up his ego and better highlight how Dave feels like his brother doesn’t take anything seriously and always feels in his shadow. Dave fighting with two-handed swings with a broken sword tooth and nail contrasted with Dirk/Bro just flicking around a razor-thin blade with just a few twists of his wrists and shredding everything. But I guess it kind of goes against Bro’s appearance as a pot-bellied white-trash middle-aged weeb.

For a more extreme example, imagine giving each and every SBURB/SGRUB player character their own unique class AND aspect. If you remove the REALLY long interactive intermission and condense act 6 to just plot progressing actions and not the long dialogues you can effectively rework post-cascade and use the main stuff as reference. A lot of it is them standing around talking, basically the main kids are on a meteor/boat for 3 years and they arrive finally, some action, then more talking for ages, and gear up for final battle. And the masterpiece being intentionally obscured as a troll by caliborn can be reworked entirely as a more direct anime type battle. A lot of stuff that makes post-cascade bad is it drawing everything out for extremely long dialogues.

Six player session of Sburb with OC characters, with a focus on building up their characterization and personalities over time. More of an exploration of the "cool isekai" factors, the lands, and "gameplay" of Sburb; with a slight adjustment to the general game scenario to fit a more interactive approach. Maybe a Monster Hunter esque system of hunting strong enemies (Denizens?) in order to harvest parts for the best gear. (Sburb already has some of this to be honest)

But exploring other aspects is more fun. Time and space are overdone.

It's bizarre because Homestuck is famed for having an absurdly bad ending. Like Mass Effect 3, Game of Thrones, or Attack on Titan, you'd expect its presence to evaporate after such a catastrophic trainwreck of an ending.
Unlike those however, Homestuck is an internet property and inherently has a level of obfuscation that makes it difficult for people to just say WHY it's bad. You can concisely convey how Game of Thrones destroys its themes, characters, setting, and overarching narrative. You can't so easily explain why Act 6 is unpleasant, how the plot becomes confused, loses sight of its ending, gradually wastes more and more time on characters that grow less and less pleasant, only to snap back to an ending that nobody bothered to even think about at all for the last 3000 pages after failing to stick every other landing it had.
