Is there some hack going around that allows people to just ignore any slowdown from being hit by you, or items just fucking disappearing?

I can see other people get hit by other people's items just fine, but I can knock someone square in the anus with a boxing glove and they will keep pace with me like nothing happened, having had no defensive item of their own.
Also half the time when I have a homing glove or shuriken it just fucking darts over to the left or right and then does nothing.

It's more than a little frustrating. I think people are hacking super sonic into multiplayer and just putting another skin over the character.

This pisses me off so much. On regular online races, I end up in the top 4, festivals, mostly bottom 3 because motherfuckers activate cheating. There's been plenty of times I am in the middle like 5th or 6th and on the stretch at the end, no one passes me and once I pass the line, bottom 3 even though nobody passed me and I do hold down the button to look back and no one is passing.

Speaking of the final stretch, they really need to make it that when you approach the final stretch, all items become disabled except for boost items such as the white wisps and laser for examples. Shit like the drill and monster truck, weights, and King Boom Boo for examples will be instantly disable at the final stretch. That would easily balance the game right there.

Of fucking course I get disconnected just before the next race. The minute I get to 6000, I'm done for tonight. The game has never been this fucking frustrating.
