Windows 10 wasn't that bad for me, after I figured out how to remove telemetry shit. The second I got Windows 11 I ran that Win11Debloat thing and it's not that bad, though it does use a lot of RAM. My previous PC had 8 GB of RAM and didn't use half of it passively. My new Win11 PC has 32GB of RAM and it's usually at 6-8 GB of RAM usage, leaning towards 8.

Things just got worse. I went over to 10 relatively late. Three years later I got told that it's going to be made obsolete. 11 sounds like a privacy nightmare with all the forced telemetry and now AI being shoved through the users' throat. That's not gonna fly.
Now I bought a mac mini and my main pc, which consists of old parts and part refreshes, is going in the spare room for a bit until I figure out how Linux works. I also gave up on google chrome. So far apple seems kind of sane, though they have their own aspects of insanity elsewhere.

I really don't find Win 11 to be that different from Win 10 after the usual debloating, tweaking and network blocking. In fact I can't even tell outside of the AI icon appearing in programs it has no business being in like notepad or paint.
