Also its clear if were going off the games themselves and the pitch for the initial cartoon, characters like Aku Aku, Coco will do a good portion of the talking while the plots gravitate around or are resolved by Crash. Funny that the only good thing to come out of Sonic Boom was the animated series. As the games were universally panned. Rise of Lyric was also stuck on the Wii-U, it was powered by the CryEngine and suffered from framerate performance issues. Richard Jacques as the music composer was pretty cool. I don't think there's a capable team right now that understands the gameplay, the aesthetics, the tone, the design principles, and everything that made crash what it is that could make a new, decent game. If it were, I'd be enthusiastic about them working on a new project, but there isn't. Toys for bob fumbled it with the wholesome epic chungus they delivered that did absolutely nothing right. And I'm not talking about Tawna's design (it could've worked if the writing for her character wasn't so awful). Their dumpster fire of a vision only works in favor of diluting crash's "identity" even further and digging his original incarnation even deeper.

I don;t think this was a bad representation of Crash, given that this is the skylanders version of the character. At that point in time, Crash was a mostly dormant franchise with a few token mobile games, a Skylanders cross over, and Nitro Kart? I do like the voice that they've chosen.

Cause Charles Zembellas was posting quite a bit of Crash content back in the Nsane Trilogy days. All that dried up by the time Crash 4 came around. He was actually pulling for the Amazon cartoon cause one of his students was working on it but we know how that turned out.

Adding on to this, Crash is at least two decades late to getting an animated adaption. There have already been several other shows that did what a Crash cartoon would've essentially been like. Everyone take the Viva Piñata pill:

I honestly kind of agree. Her design isn't appealing whatsoever (it's the face and hair mostly) but it makes sense for someone from her dimension to have a rough appearance. It's just that the piss poor writing of her character is so fucking cynical towards Crash for no reason it's utterly bizarre. He, a wacky zany cartoon animal known for dying in ridiculous ways, straight up DIES dies in her universe, and she's so upset about it she becomes the action hero instead of him. So what's her reaction upon seeing him alive for the first time again? Hit him in the fucking head and spend the rest of the game trying to one-up him while holding hands with Coco. I would've liked her much more if she actually retained her kind, loving personality and was affectionate towards Crash instead of berating him and trying to be independent woman character #1038.
