The Legion would have been better if Caesaer wasn't a character we talked to but just a distant Warlord and we only meet his legate. On a surface jevel the Legion is great as just a brutal survival of the fittest army of tribals. But the more the game did to try to make it idealogical and Caesars attempt to revamp society the stupider it got

Trust me, when NV came out (if you could get past all the bugs) and you were unaware of Van Buren, it was extremely jarring and interesting to bump into a fucking legion dressed up in a mix between mad max and Roman gear burning towns, enslaving people and hanging people on crosses

Personally, I hate New vegas because it's not a video game, but rather a vapid fedora simulator where you follow an arrow from waypoint to waypoint so you can click on the [speech] option in a dialogue box and larp as some moral arbiter. It is one of the most offensively bad games ever made and if I see someone with a ton of hours in it on steam I just won't bother interacting with them.

It is objectively true though, howeverbeit mayhaps we ought to as a society collectively opt to choose a different word besides inferior; honestly it's a bit of a misnomer anyway. Are they weaker and less capable yes, but strength is to the masculine as beauty is to the feminine; we should excel and specialize in our specialties whilst respecting the other sex enough to permit them to be the better candidate for their own traits. So women can have strength and men can be beautiful but keep it balanced and mindful of fairness.

It's just a videogame. You can roleplay as an evil Legion member but that doesn't mean you're evil outside of the game. That's some crazy talk.
Either way even if you align yourself with Legion it's not like they have you do super evil shit. You eliminate hostile factions and that's about it.
