How come there aren't any real rumors about the next Sonic game?

Sega has had too many wins and they're cocky. Expect Frontiers 2 to be garbage.

Sonic's reputation has been too damaged by the combination of mediocrity and the lack of acceptance by its community that the games were mediocre. Even if the series has pulled itself out of the dumps lately the shadow cast by its worst moments now consigns the series to never be too far from everyone turning on it again. The next fuck up will be treated as if the series never improved.
