My first IT job was interning with my pop, who was the datacenter admin for a school district. Man was an iron worker during his early days, beat his body to shit. So by the time he was close to retiring from the admin job, he had to walk multiple times a day just to keep his back and legs from getting worse.
Bitches on the lower floors would watch him take his laps in the parking lot and lodged complaints with our department manager. Implying he wasn't working. Meanwhile he and I handled 20+ hours a week on average out of the office after main hours, patching servers, racking new shit during outage windows, retiring old shit.
Ignore bitches wherever possible.
