Extremely unpopular opinion: REmake fucking sucks. Tried playing it as the first game in the series, and it had absolutely no newbie difficulty curve. Zombies are harder to dodge, shit is harder to see, I didnt't even figure out how to find the first map and then on top of all of that it also shits inventory full of random keys and canteen in a game with already the worst inventory management in the series. In comparison, the original game is a great introduction into the gameplay style and has brilliantly laid out difficulty. It's bascally Scholar of the First Sin tier but with no good gameplay changes.
