People are missing what the anon was saying. SSJ3 Goku WAS stronger than Buu. In specific, Fat Buu. Goku even said himself that he could have beaten him, but he knew that it made more sense to pass it down to Gohan, Goten and Trunks. Also like the other anon said, Goku was on borrowed time and once that was up, he thought he was going to stay dead because that's literally what he was told. SSJ3 was also so powerful it ate up more of the time he was going to be able to be there on Earth.

I agree that Goku giving the sensu bean to Cell was ridiculous and made no sense. He made a mistake thinking Gohan was like he was and not only did he risk everyone dying since Gohan wasn't reaching his limit without everyone else getting beaten within inches of their lives and Android 16 dying (he still should have been wished back in some way though. He's the only real Android so I guess the wish would be for him to be "repaired" or something, but still he should have come back). But this was actually a move made with actual foresight.

The Trunks DLC of Kakarot was cool but it mainly made me want a full Trunks game.

Buu was made by Bibidi to kill all the kais so Buu went around slaughtering them all but ended up absorbing a couple of them. The Leader Kai Daikaioh made him fat.
When gray Buu manifested from fat Buu fat Buu still had the Kai’s absorbed, so when Vegeta finally removed fat Buu from Super Buu later, Buu reverted to his original form.

Oob was only ever made, in Toriyama's eyes, to be an epilogue character. He's Goku's truest successor as the pure form of Boo was the person who most understood Goku's "philosophy"- which is just having fun and enjoying all aspects of fighting for what it is.
The story ends with Oob riding on kinto'un for that reason.

It's other, later series using him and not really getting it. GT especially just has Oob around for very token reasons, he basically does nothing despite the start of GT classing him as Goku's current greatest rival.
