Also it's heavily player-dependent, because they're the ones who have to create the games there. One is the powercreep simulator autoplay number checker, where Mihoyo rugpulls an entire exodia meta after less than a year, and 10x the HP in all endgame modes to keep the metafags on a treadmill. It's for whales only, you reach nirvana when you realize you shouldn't touch it at all and just collect characters you like.

The other half is just a VN. It has very, very interesting lore and a cool setting, but they choose to retread the exact fucking same Honkai arcs and do generic fantasy shit, nothing SPACE RELATED at all. The cool as fuck setting is relegated to walls of text on SU and a few radio reports while you eat up fantasy China then fantasy Greece and Elysium Everlasting without any hint of space opera about it.

I forgot what his name was but I read a very nice write-up about the lead designer of ZZZ, and how he wanted to make a TWEWY-Persona type of game, hence the many vestigial features from launch, such as the store management with different characters giving different bonuses, or the daily schedule.
