A lot of the complaints about this game's story are overblown and made by people who can't read
BUT there was one thing I never understood.
Shido wanted to change the cognition of foreign politicians to make Japan a superpower. But he was also planning to kill Akechi after he was elected Prime Minister.
Shido's goons also seem pretty confident they can continue from where Shido left off even though Akechi has gone AWOL.
Did the Conspiracy have some alternate means of going into the Metaverse or were they just thinking that if a dumb teenager could figure out how, they could to not knowing that it's a literal divine ordainment.

The Conspiracy was actively being aided by the Holy Grail, because the masses were conditioned into wanting them in power. As a result, the Holy Grail's patsies getting elected would mean the Holy Grail could extend its reach globally as opposed to just Japan. Akechi was never actually needed, it was a rigged game in the Grail's favor from the start.

I got the impression that they figured they could figure it out with Wakaba's research notes and enough money thrown at the problem. Shido himself wasn't particularly smart, he just got handed a cheat code. In fact, his political career would've died at the beginning without Akechi doing anything at all if it wasn't for Akechi's very particular revenge boner.
>>724733193 >They subconsciously knew the Grail would help them succeed
I could buy that actually. Same reason everyone kind of just pretends the election is happening anyway and nothing changed. >>724733301
This is also true. Shido had an extremely inflated opinion of himself for someone who relied on a literal teenager to be successful.

Shido, even after having his heart changed, states that the ignorant masses want a leader that can think for them so they don't have to do anything themselves. The only difference was that originally, he thought he was the one to be that leader. In the Prison of Regression he realized that he was also a member of those ignorant masses all along, subservient to this ideal of letting the Government or God handle everything for you.

Sumire has the shill girl status and yet Makoto >still leads in popularity >Got shilled in Strikers >Still gets picked on promotions/crossovers, even over other characters >still gets official art and merch >to people in general she is still basically the quasy-canon ship the same way Yukari and AIgis are.
on the last point is basically every time some artist does art of a meme aimed at couples with Joker as a chatacter, there is a 50/50 chance Joker's couple is either Makoto or Akechi

None of the lyrical palace themes are among the best unless they're the ones that don't reset during battles. The Whims of Fate got annoying real fast when all you get to hear is just the first lyric several dozen times before it gets interrupted by Last Surprise or Take Over again and again and again.
>>724740814 >still leads in popularity
*in Japan, the place with the worst taste in any game because they always just go with whomever the writers WANT you to be paired with. That then leads to a misrepresentation of popularity and thus a facade of needing more merch presence to satisfy the nonexistent demand for said character.
>Last Surprise... doesnt play on surprise attacks
Worst change in Royal. Take Over is ok but they should be switched
And to answer OP is Futabas palace

It's funny how Persona 4 Golden did it the right way, where they added in Time to Make History but made it the enemy advantage song (since it's not as happy-go-lucky as Reach Out to the Truth).

I found him super easy actually. OG P5 endgame already made you as strong as P4G endgame, and royal added a shit ton more stuff afterwards.
