It’s sad that this piece of shit will always be the last Metal Gear that kojima ever made

What's sadder is that we got Death Stranding instead of this.

it's ok

It would be the best in the entire series if they let him finish it

It would be ok if the game felt finished.

MGSV was 2nd best game of 2015.

The only thing that sucks about MGSV is we will never get an MGSV-2 because there is a lot of room for improvement left.

Would be cool, for example, if there were a neutral city with friendly NPCs, and Snake becomes this local mercenary hero fighting the oppressive local military occupation.

Or if there were a third map that was all interiors, like Shadow Moses. Just a giant military base for you to infiltrate.

This was a crazy missed opportunity. I understand they were pushing the open world meme with this game but it only having like 3 total interior environments you can screw around in is a fuckin crime

I hated it being open world

too much gameplay, not enough story

It was the last stealth video game ever made that's not Hitman. At least with a sizeable enough budget to make the production values shine. After this game released the only one carrying on the torch for the genre's representation is intravenous, an indie game. Maybe if we're lucky Physint, that new 007 game or Styx Shards of Darkness will be alright. Or that upcoming Korean game called Mudang Two Hearts. But it is true that tactical stealth action died pretty much after this released.

still one of the best games ever made and leagues above of mgs3 in both gameplay and story.

Some people may claim Sniper Elite is stealth but... eh I guess. The gimmick is more sniping and the x-ray vision thing.

Replayed it recently. Probably the best AAA game of the 2010s and most certainly the best Metal Gear game.

So it was a good game?

I enjoyed Wildlands quite a bit. It's a bit jankier and less refined than MGSV, but when you stealthily take out bases, it feels good.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint actually has smoother gameplay, but the map is worse and far less interesting, so it's kind of a tradeoff, but it has good stealth action too.

I recommend turning off the HUD when playing these games though. Ubisoft UI gives you so much info on your screen, much more interesting when you patiently watch everything yourself.

would if there was a way to check ammo, compass, etc without having the UI option on
