I got the ET game for the Atari 2600, probably from Goodwill or a garbage man neighbor.
It wasn't a bad game for the 2600 compared to a lot of their shovelware, the problem was they greatly overestimated demand and rushed the development.
Later I got a Game Boy. Some games I had included Vidiots, the Ren and Stimpy game, and the crash test dummies game. Vidiots was beatable in like half an hour. I don't really remember what was bad about the crash test dummies game.
On the SNES I rented Ballz 3D and actually thought it was kind of cool.
I had a bunch of games from bargain bins. They were usually not so good but one day I managed to score Mega Man X and Plok in a 2 for $20 deal and both are awesome. Plok suffered from a lack of a save feature though. The soundtracks to both games still hold up today and Plok's was made by Tim Follin who is known for developing impressive soundtracks.
