Yeah, I mean depending on what time you go to, and how far inlands you go, they got more unusual. But look at what the anti-wokes complain about, ya know? A black victorian soldier in Dr. Who, for instance. When there have been documented black victorian soldiers in real life. Also bonus points: The Black victorian was in an episode where his regiment was on mars, fighting aliens. So ya know, can't make him black, that would be unrealistic, and a dishonor to the real victorian white troops who lost their life fighting on mars for England!
They also complained about The Witcher and black characters which is funny for two reasons: One: It's a poland analogue, and Poland was connected to the ocean, and thus pretty much no race would be unrealistic to see in poland, and secondly: the witcher series has Portals allowing people to move continents as easy as going to the shitter.
Same is true for Hogwarts legacy which garnered much criticism for having the nignogs at school. Which again: is a world with MULTIPLE forms of teleportation, but also takes places in 1890, a time where there was a sizable population of black people in real life london, and thus having a whole bunch of black Hogwarts students would have been entirely realistic.
But all this is totally besides the point, because "Muh historical realism" is just a pretense, None of these faggots crying about it actually care about historical realism. What they want is "no niggers, ever, no matter what, no matter when". Saying "Well this is ye olden times so it's unrealistic" is just a convenient pretense to hide that. To pretend "no no, I'm totally not racist, I'm just a history nerd, and I care so much about historical accuracy".
That's why all the people who whined about playing a kickass amputee woman in a WWII BF games, also complained that in Battlefield Vietnam you could blast fortunate son from the Helicopters sound system.
Oh wait, they thought that part kicked extreme amounts of ass. Huh.
